Stack Testing

Enviro Technology Services have an alliance with a leading UK testing laboratory, who are engaged in monitoring environmental emissions from a variety of industrial processes. Measurements are made either for compliance against prescribed regulatory conditions, benchmarking against ISO standards or for the evaluation of abatement options and verification of abatement techniques. During the past 19 years, their Emissions Division has provided support and measurement to a broad spectrum of industries across Europe, among these are:

  • Minerals;
  • Automotive and aerospace;
  • Chemical and pharmaceutical;
  • Power Generation;
  • Foundry, steel production and surface treatment (such as plating);
  • Incineration and combustion processes;
  • Food manufacture;
  • Paint and Coating Manufacture and Application.

Capabilities
The Emissions Division is staffed by a team of experienced consultants who have experience of sites regulated by Local Authorities (B and A2) and Environment Agency (A1). The Emissions Division also undertakes D1 stack height calculations as part of the emission testing portfolio.

Quality Assurance

The Stack team is a Member of the Source Testing Association (STA) and is working towards both UKAS and MCERTS accreditation. Field samples are analysed in-house by a UKAS accredited laboratory.

All staff are trained to MCERTS Level 2 and hold the relevant Technical Endorsements for the above determinands.
